For the rest of the world there is a charge of $40.

Becoming an art collector doesn't really have any set rules.  The best rule to follow is to love the art you buy by an artist whose work you love.  The great thing about art prints is that the art is affordable and it's a great introduction to the world of art buying.

If you are not framing it then the best thing to do is lay it completely flat under a clean piece of cloth to stop dust collecting on the surface.

Apart from being a physical gallery in Melbourne, Pineapple Gallery is an online art gallery.  Head to the prints page to buy art online.

There are no set rules but there are avenues you can approach it from.

a) Pick a colour match from the image that you want to highlight.

b) Think about the colour of the wall it's going on and whether you would like a subtle frame colour or high contrast for a more dramatic effect.

c) Think about the room your art print is going in and the overall colour scheme.  Pick a colour or texture that will compliment interiors.

We sure do.  Please email us directly about this.
We want to showcase artists from all over the globe and that means celebrating the great pool of talented artist in Melbourne, Australia and internationally. We sell both art prints and originals.

We practice a policy of providing a COA with all our limited edition art prints giving our collectors and artists the reassurance that all work is valued and safeguarded properly.

As we are print publishers/printmakers, a COA can be generated by our gallery, when limited editions art prints are produced or they may be generated by the artist themselves depending on their preferences.

ARTIST QUESTIONS

Pineapple Gallery makes fine art giclée prints.  First we need a hi-resolution scan of your work.  You can bring your artwork in for us to photograph or send us a scan.  We then print using our 12 colour sate-of-the-art printer onto a museum grade archival paper of your choice, producing the highest quality giclée art prints.  International artists are required to send us your work electronically.

Once we've reviewed your work we'll contact you within a week to discuss what artworks we both jointly think will sell.

If you'd like to sell your drawings paintings or photography online via PINEAPPLE GALLERY as either originals or fine art giclée prints, please read this page.  We have an open submission policy.

Our detailed terms and conditions are available during the signing process.  Once we've both decided to collaborate we then require your permission to make fine art reproductions of your work, in either open or limited edition prints.

We then pay you 65% of the profit 14 working days after the sale.

Yes. We offer diamond dusting.

We use stiffeners to ensure the work arrives safely.

If you are represented by us we can facilitate an exhibition within our Collingwood gallery location. Collingwood is an inner city suburb known for it's arts scene, exhibiting with us offers high exposure.

It's really up to you and the size of the space you are exhibiting in.

We'll work with you to get it right.

There are no rules or regulations that stipulate that artists have to provide certificates of authenticity as part of the sale but the certificate provides credibility and it could be considered a promise that the piece in question is made of proper materials and is meant to last long in the hands of its new owner.

Legally speaking, it protects from fraud and copyright infringement.

We practice a policy of providing a COA with all our limited edition art prints giving our collectors and artists the reassurance that all work is valued and safeguarded properly.

You can provide the COA, however at Pineapple Gallery we realise many artists don’t often have these certificates ready with their prints, and many artists can be unsure of exactly what information is required.

As we are print publishers/printmakers, a COA can be generated by our gallery, when limited editions art prints are produced. We offer this service to all our artists selling limited edition prints.

We do not charge you for this service.

The COA will state if your print is “limited edition” or “open edition”. For prints or artworks that come within an edition, our COA includes the number of that particular print within the edition and the edition size.

We also provide certificate number, artist name, artwork title, year created, exact dimensions, original or limited edition print, original signature, date signed, copyright information, information on the number of prints that are signed and numbered, only signed or only numbered.
