Originally by the artist F.Holland Day this erotic image shows a naked young man in shadow holding an ebony statuette. Day took an unconventional approach to religious subjects and often photographed male nudes and he was an early and vocal advocate for accepting photography as a fine art. 

We love his homoerotic portraiture, we are pleased to bring his work into a contemporary light and show the beauty of a male body as F.Holland saw it with our modern twist, his appreciation of poetry, especially the romantic John Keats can be felt in his images which are as erotic as they are poetic.
