About our prints
As print publishers, we proudly represent an exceptional roster of painters, illustrators, photographers, and mixed-media artists, producing every single print entirely by hand in our workshop. We work across a wide variety of formats, from fine art giclée prints on archival papers to hands-on traditional mediums like screen prints, etchings, woodcuts, linocuts, lithographs, and monotypes. Depending on the piece, you can find signed editions, numbered prints, and rare artist proofs. To make sure the detail and colour integrity hold up for generations, we use only archival inks and museum-grade materials designed for true long-term durability.
You can order your fine art prints framed or unframed, with options like conservation-grade mounting, modern or traditional mouldings, and ready-to-hang finishes so it can go straight onto your wall. Whether you’re styling a home gallery wall, upgrading an interior, or sourcing standout pieces for a large-scale hospitality project, we build each piece for immediate visual impact and lasting value. And wherever you call home, we ship worldwide with sturdy, secure packaging to keep your investment safe in transit.
Art print FAQs
What Are Fine Art Prints?
Fine art prints are high-quality reproductions of original artworks, crafted using advanced printing techniques such as giclee printing, archival papers and pigment inks. They capture the essence of the original piece, offering art lovers an accessible way to enjoy art. There are two main types: limited edition prints, which are produced in a set number, and open edition prints, which have no limit on the number produced.
What benefits do Pineapple Gallery’s art prints offer interior design?
Pineapple Gallery’s art prints enhance interior design by:
– Improving visual appeal with vibrant colours
– Creating focal points with striking compositions
– Enhancing moods through diverse artistic styles
– Expanding decor possibilities with customisable dimensions
– Enlivening spaces with limited edition exclusivity
How to Select the Perfect Art Print for Your Space?
Choosing the right art print involves considering the size, style, and colour scheme of your space. Match art with your decor by considering the room’s mood and existing colour palette. Successful installations often feature art that complements the room’s function and design. For instance, a calming landscape print can enhance a serene bedroom setting.
How to value fine art prints?
Fine art print values depend on several factors:
-
Edition size & rarity – Limited editions and artist’s proofs are generally worth more.
-
Artist reputation – Established or in-demand artists command higher prices.
-
Technique – Traditional hand-pulled prints (etching, lithograph, screenprint) are more valuable than open digital reproductions.
-
Condition – Well-preserved prints without fading, tears, or stains hold stronger value.
-
Signature & authentication – Signed works with certificates of authenticity are typically more valuable.
-
Market demand – Current trends and recent auction results strongly influence price.
-
Size & presentation – Larger or well-framed works can fetch more, though some buyers prefer unframed.
To estimate value, compare recent auction sales for similar works, check gallery listings, and seek professional appraisal for significant pieces.
How to frame art prints?
Framing art prints, or original artwork is a craft, a skill and something we love to do by hand in the Pineapple workshop.
Once an artwork is framed by a bespoke framer, it really does show off the art at a different and higher level, the power of a handmade frame is notably different from the ‘off the shelf’ frames you can buy anywhere, it takes a few weeks but usually a frame remains on the artwork for 10-50 years so we think the wait for a handmade is so worth it.
Choosing which frame to go with can seem overwhelming, the thought of multiple choices, not knowing the jargon and the potential high cost can put people off from choosing a bespoke frame, just the word bespoke can make people quiver but at Pineapple Gallery we encourage people to feel comfortable to come in for a casual chat, and to look and feel the huge range of frames we offer. We can help guide you in the right direction whilst always remaining true to our main principles that you should trust your gut instincts and that art is for everyone.
Our frames come in so many shapes and sizes varying from traditional Australian oak to contemporary colours, metallics, wide, narrow, ornates, it feels exciting to buy some contemporary art then to have it framed.
Our framing options give you the chance to show off your artwork in a way that suits your needs, whether an edge to edge frame or a box frame, maybe a framed open canvas which can offer a contemporary look without the need for glass, all our frames are made to order and made with love.
You will be happy with the individualised experience and individualised end result, you won’t break the bank but you will invest in something special to enjoy over many years to come.
